The baby seal was born on Sunday June 27, 2021. He does not yet have a first name because the caretakers are waiting to know the sex. It is only in a few weeks that the mystery will be unraveled. This is because the genitals are internal and the skin is not tight enough for the first few days.
The family is growing
The mother is called Katy and the father is Homer. Both parents already had a baby, Tommy, last year. The mother will breastfeed the newborn for 2 months. The caregivers will give the baby cubs, first to play with him, then to teach him to swallow very quickly. Come visit him as soon as possible!
