Arrived in 2017, Maléo lived a few years at PAL accompanied by his brother Ascari. But arriving at adulthood, the two brothers could no longer cohabit on the same territory. They had to build their own families. Ascari therefore left us for the Veszprem Zoo in Hungary where he will emancipate and create his own family. But Maléo did not remain alone very long, 3 days of celibacy later he met his bride for his greatest happiness.
A very special women's day
On March 8, 2019, The PAL had the pleasure of welcoming Malaya, a female snow panther. Born on June 24, 2017 at the Arcachon Basin Zoo, the moment to fly on its own had arrived. It is a very discreet snow leopard but once comfortable with its trainers, it turned out to be very playful. She is still a little shy with her carers, which is easily explained by her young age.
