Wildlife in France
This association brings together 17 care centers for wildlife in France. These care centers take care of more than 43,000 animals per year, to treat them and release them into their natural environment. Spread across the country, the centers operate in 56 departments, and with more than 1,200 volunteers. They care for any wild animal in distress, usually found by private individuals.
In recent years, the number of animals in distress has increased by more than 10% per year, while the means of care centers are constantly decreasing. Some health centers had to close.
If we want, all together, to rise to the ecological challenge of the coming decades, we must act to save wildlife, a fundamental component of our biodiversity.
The Le PAL Nature Foundation has financially supported the Wild Fauna Care Center Network. This association brings together 17 care centers in France which take care of more than 43,000 animals per year. Their goal ? Treat them and release them to their natural environment. The Foundation supports them in the training of their teams and for better recognition of their mission by the public authorities.
Among these 17 members is the LPO AURA - Auvergne, which the Foundation already supports. It is important to protect the tigers in Nepal but also the hedgehogs in our gardens!
