Once upon a time there were wild bees

Preserving our bees

Régis, a passionate beekeeper from Charente-Maritime, created the Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles initiative. They have been working for years to preserve the honeybee by offering individuals and businesses the opportunity to finance the installation of new hives by sponsoring bees.

Voluntary to save our eco-system, and aware of the importance of wild bees, the initiative is launched: Les Dorloteurs d'Abeilles. Whether you are an individual or a professional, you can join the adventure and participate in the preservation of wild bees. Still unknown to the general public, this species, like its congeners, is endangered. Currently, 40% of the world's bee population is endangered. Thus, the initiative of Les Dorloteurs d'Abeilles consists in offering a roof to these little champions of pollination who do not live in hives, do not make honey, do not sting, but allow an abundance of crops.

In the world, there are nearly 20,000 species of bees! Like wild bees, most do not make honey or sting.
